Maxwell DISC Workshop — Biblical Edition

Explore behavioural preferences through the Biblical Edition of the DISC workshop.

Maxwell DISC

What this programme helps you work on.

People in faith-based groups can share a purpose while approaching tasks and conversations differently. This edition explores behavioural preferences within a Biblical discussion context. Participants connect self-awareness with practical choices about how they communicate, listen and contribute to group responsibilities.

Who it suits

Faith-based groups exploring communication and behaviour.

The focus

Behaviour, communication and a faith-based discussion context.

Inside the programme

What you’ll explore.

These themes guide the learning. The depth and selection depend on the format and the needs you bring.

Explore your working preferences

Reflect on how you approach people and tasks, using examples from your experience in the group.

Consider different approaches

Discuss differences in pace, detail and interaction without treating one preference as the standard everyone should follow.

Connect discussion with your context

Use the edition’s faith-based setting to reflect on relationships and how people work together.

Practise an adjustment

Choose a conversation or shared responsibility where adapting your approach could make expectations easier to understand.

From ideas to action

Put it into practice.

Agree how to adapt communication to another person’s preferences.

An example to work through

Consider a volunteer-team handover. Discuss what the people involved need to understand the task, then agree a clearer way to communicate responsibilities and ask for support.

This is an example of local application. We adapt the discussion to your situation and agreed scope.

Your practical takeaways

What you’ll work towards.

  • A description of your own behavioural preferences.
  • A communication adjustment suited to your group.
  • A practical agreement for a shared responsibility.

The learning experience

How it works.

Facilitated learning combines explanation, discussion and reflection on participants’ own situations. Where the agreed format allows, you practise an application and decide what to try at work. Scope, duration and any follow-up are agreed around the group’s needs.

DISC describes behavioural preferences and supports discussion. It is not a clinical diagnosis or a complete judgement of ability or suitability for a role. Report inclusion and the debrief format are confirmed for the engagement.
