Understand the principle.
Make it your practice.
Real conversations.
Connect learning to a specific situation. Ask questions and consider other perspectives.
Deliberate action.
Choose what you will try, who it affects and when you will do it.
Honest reflection.
Look at what happened, learn from it and decide what to adjust.
Grounded in established learning programmes.
The catalogue draws on Maxwell’s leadership, communication and personal growth programmes, alongside work by Valorie Burton and Ryan Leak, Maxwell DISC and The Leadership Game. Original concepts and programme titles retain their authorship; local facilitation helps participants connect the learning to their own context.
ASEAN Leadership brings together local trainers Soo Hoo Yoon Hunn and Alexis Chuah. It is distinct from Maxwell Leadership’s corporate organisation.

The author behind the learning
John C. Maxwell.
John C. Maxwell is a bestselling author, speaker and coach, and the founder of Maxwell Leadership. His books and leadership principles form the foundation of the Maxwell programmes offered here, including The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, Developing the Leaders Around You and Everyone Communicates, Few Connect.
His philosophy that “everything rises and falls on leadership” underpins his work on personal growth, influence and developing other leaders. In these sessions, Soo Hoo helps participants connect that learning to their own teams and decisions.
John Maxwell is the author of the Maxwell leadership content; Soo Hoo is your local facilitator. Other authors and programme creators are credited on their respective pages.
